What do you really have to do to make the t4 chassis work with the b4?

I was under the impression it bolts right up with the exception of having to cut the body to fit the larger chassis. could be wrong though.

Im at 31/72 with a 13.5 orion and it comes off the track at about 130 fast as anything else too. I dont know how the rs works, i use LRP stuff

Just a pic of some changes I'm thinking of making to my paint scheme that I'm having Rolly of RC3 Grafiz paint up on a bulldog for me: (The gold color is off, as are some of the other ones)

I like the sound of the changes Yeah, the gold up front looked pretty plain compared to the rest of the body

Nice, get us a pic of the painted body!

I still havn't tried SC :/ its a lot more popular at the two closest tracks but I'm still perfectly happy with my t4 And i'll definitely pick up a 2wd buggy before I try it out

At our home track super stock short course and superstock 2wd buggy are the two guge classes. Last night we had 4 super stock buggy mains! And we usually have 3 SS Short Course. Not to mention 1 pro mod class.

I race both SC and recetly the 2wd buggy. I love SC, they are a lot of fun, and very durable. They are easier to drive than buggy, and it's easy to be consistent. As for the buggy, I really liek it. They just have so much more potential than short course, and are a lot more challenging to drive. In short course, you pretty much use almost all of your steering in turns. In buggy, you have to be a lot smoother and use smaller throttle and steering inputs. 2wd buggy makes you a better driver, but at the same time SC is also challenging because of the big bodies and bumpers.

Actually toying with the idea of a long wheelbase B4.1 as well just for kicks. Not quite sure how you guys are getting the bodies to fit though since it is longer in the middle

Yeah, when I started RC Car racing there weren't any Short Course trucks yet. Then I stopped for a while and came back to the sport and there they were! But I stuck with my roots and soon, when I have the money, I am grabbing a buggy. Maybe I'll drive a short course truck, maybe not. We'll see in a year or so

Just built a t4.1 and notice the rear springs seem to rub the shock body anytime the shocks are compressed. This makes the rear suspension seem sticky or just plain not smooth... anyone found a way around this?

the rear suspension on my b4 rubs as well only on full compression though. the spring when fully compressed wants to get back to normal height so it tries to find a way back and it cant go back so it rubs on the shock bods. Thats just MY theory on why they rub. could be totally different

Take a dremel and grind the spring on the side it hits. It will be where it overlaps at each end.
