pass on these if you race...the buggy does not race well with these skid plates and tends spring off jump faces

I have the same things on my "List" -
I am contemplating passing on the guards. I have to wonder how effective they really are.
As far as the front skid plate, I am 100% on that, and was pretty sure on the rear until your comment bohdi. LOL. You're trippin me up all kinds of shiznit tonight man....

You mentioned my wiring is too far back. Why? Won't they be protected under the body? I'm not sure your reasoning here....

I've looked at the body and how it will set down on the car. I can't see why the wiring is to far back, but I got some feedback it is.
your wing...not the wiring
measure the front of wing to rear shock tower

WTF??!!

I guess we read what we want to read sometimes (at least me).

I'm sorry man. I'll totally make that adjustment on the wing. I too thought it was a bit high, but wasn't sure.

I thought you said "your "wiring" is too far back
and
then giving advice on the wing. 2 separate things. Sorry for buggin..

Default Hit or miss...

Welp,

I see this is going to be a hit or miss.

http://www.hobbypartz.com/98p-40c-50...-hardcase.html

I'm not spending 160.00 on a damn battery. I guess I'll wait.

There are ROAR approved anyway. No need to spend that kind of money.

Good explanation on the Grid mount. For me, it's piece of mind that this motor isn't going to move at all and trash a spur gear. It's functional, allowing for quick motor maintenance and spur gear changes. And it's the sexiest freakin piece on the buggy!

Yeah I am going to buy a few of those once they come in. Anyone else on the upgrades?

What one do you have? Is the only color they have S/S? I was thinking of getting me one of those but I'm not sure yet. Will I really be changing the spur gear so often that I have to do it quickly? Isn't it really only like 6 bolts?

Plenty of stuff to buy for this buggy. You can spend a bundle on just getting the rest of the factory team parts

1. FT hubs front and rear. $130
2. FT aluminum wing standoffs $10
3. FT chassis braces $35 set.
4. Grid motor mount.
5. All the DE stuff $25

What you guys think about these batteries? Are hard cases really a must?

BTW someone said earlier that the noise I "heard" sounded like cogging. Um, I thought Tekins didn't cog?

The aluminum stuff will come in time as well as the new chasis. All De stuff was a definate. Bohdi said earlier the DE rear skid was no good though. What you think about it Greg?
