This is $159 at Stormer (pre-order) and will be retail price. Beats $199

I'd cancel my order for the 720 but that one isn't going to be available in the UK for a couple of months....

It's pre-order in the states too. Probably a little while before we get it. $159 though is a good price. No reason to go Maxamps for sure now.

And Doug, I called associated about the servo and he agreed with me that it's a rare occurrence these servos go out like that. He said he's been running them for 3 years and never had a problem.

I shipped it out today. Should be there Wednesday. When I called the guy said they usually just replace them with a new servo. Broken gears arent covered under the lifetime warranty.

Oh yes, and that was just by rolling the car on the floor. Soo much more quiet with the plastic spur!

To aks questions you have to put some ??-marks in the end of your sentences! Haha.

Received my FT front knuckles and rear hub carriers and weighed them for all you guys!

Rears - Stock 11.4g, FT 18.4g - 7g more for the Aluminum. For sure they are stronger and they also give you one more camber adj hole.

Fronts - Stock 18.4g, FT 11.6g - 6.8g less for the Aluminum over the cast ones.

Sounds like a better deal on the fronts. For the rears see if they break or if you need the extra adjustment.

j

I can post pics if anyone wants.

Here are the pics:

My soldering skills are pretty rusty, so no crap about the solder job on the motor. The wire is the Tekin 12ga stuff supplied with the ESC. I would like a little longer power wires, so I ordered some Deans Wet Noodle wire. I really would like to use this 10ga Viper wire, but it just seems to large for the Tekin posts. I'm not sure how I can successfully install the 10ga wire.

I did NOT paint the body. I'm all thumbs when it comes to paint. Larry @ KustomRCGraphics did the paint work. http://www.rctech.net/forum/painting...s-com-107.html Worth every penny! I loaned out my Dremel so I wasn't able to get the body nice and smooth yet.

Wheels and tires are AKA. AE mods include the front and rear FT knuckles, FT chassis braces, and a few other parts. The motor is a Tekin T8 2050kV, ESC is obviously an RX8. Grid mount with the center diff riser removed as well. DE front and rear skid plates, and I have some dirt shields to install.

Dang Gregg, what kind of track was it, a mud bog??

It's clean now because I had just finished cleaning it since I had to remove the radio and battery tray to do the servo wire shortening and RX8 install.
