Ok! This is new to me, i thought -or assumed- Associated was making their own bodies.

Well, the reason for why i ask is that i am trying to find out what body this is, but i see now that the body that followed my car (bought second hand) is identical to this one that Doug (Heffernan ) has painted, and i take it as this is the stock body that follows the kit.

I am planning to make an inner cover for my rallycar, but at the same time being able to use it as a buggy body and just take off the rallybody and the bodymounts for it, and re-mount the wing. The buggybody that followed my car is a bit crappy, but i am considering just painting it black on the outside to start with just to have a cover for the chassi

Body's a stock rc8be shell. Proline stickers came with my proline wing/spare wheels & tyres. Who supplies ae with their shells I don't know.

I see a lot of set up sheets are using the tapered 10 x 1.1 pistons what are the benefits of using them?

On a side note, my Gens Ace pack came in. I'll take pics installed when I get out of my CIS class.

I'm assuming it fits pretty cherry in the battery tray? Cause it sire looks like it. Also you having to trim the body?

You could actually go wider. It's a pretty skinny battery. Length though is perfect. It's quite a bit taller than the soft pack with the same specs. As you can see in the pics. No other mods needed.
