Think I'm gonna order one today so I have something to race when the weather is bad (been raining for days here in CA so I cant race the nitros).

I saw a post regarding batteries; I'm assuming the Associated saddle packs are wired in a manner that is friendly to the 44.1 so when I grab batteries should I just look for packs laid out the same way?

Would a 6900kV be a nice match for the car?

The 6900kV is a lot for the car. I drove a 5700kV for a while and for my smaller track it was still a lot. Pretty much any saddle pack can fit. Some of the bigger ones might need the post raised up. The packs with bullets work as well but you need to solder the bullets into an L shape.

Yes it does.

With new bodies mark B44.1, the undertrays will not fit the old B44 chassis due to how the front part of the chassis has been trimmed down. (you could trim your B44 chassis down if you wanted too.)

So sexual...

Still need to build the V2's, get body painted, glue up some tires and mount electronics.

Too bad I don't have any electronics right now.

Won't be complete until early to mid January, that's ok though got the 4.1 to hold me over till then!

I'm probably going with the LRP SXX V2 esc, same one I have in the 2wd. For a motor, I'm not sure yet... I have the Ballistic in my 2wd and love it. I was thinking about experimenting with something a little "smoother."

What motors you guys have in these things?

yes have ran the ballistic lots of power but the x12 is way smoother and have just as much power i think it seems to have a little more than the ballistic and is smother first night i raced with it i was finally able to beat most of the fast mod buggys wich i was never able to with the ballistic but does run a tad bit hotter than the ballistic

I have the LRP X12 8.5....motor IS ballistic! Running it with the RS pro. Smooth power, almost ridiculous. Tried a concave throttle profile and it was so hard to accurately throttle off the jumps. Makes me think those profiles are more for on road applications. Defiantly cut vent holes in the front of the body, as with any 4wd stuff, shiz runs hot. I threw in a Savox 1257tg servo, car is on rails, when I am not power driftin through the sweeper. I just need to get my driving better!

What gearing do you guys run?

Do you have any pics of the vent holes? I want it strategically placed, no dirt, lots of air.

The x12 was the one I was talking about when I said "smoother." I'll give it a shot. Who knews I might even switch out the ballistic in the 4.1.

i found best is just the two regular holes cut then run a chasis tape not a plastic chasis cover it allows the air to flow better up through the side and stuff 81?84?/20?22? what ever you would like but still both very fast
