Hey everyone!

Been driving Associated cars for 25yrs now and love their products. Currently A Main Hobbies is having a sale on the B44 for Black Friday at $239.
Do you guys think that a B44.1 is worth the $130 price difference? Since I have been driving a while, I know that most people can't even tell the difference in the design changes.... If you are a back yard driver then the upgrades are definitively not worth it. Any thoughts?

I have the original B44 that I've made some upgrades on. I've put the new V2 shock bodies on and the new Jconcepts Punisher Body. It took about five minutes to mod the chassis to accept the new body.
All I can say is with these two mods alone the car handles different.
I feel that the biggest difference is the body. The car seems to have more rear down force which results in more corner traction.
I've also slotted the servo holes to move the servo 3mm like on the B44.1.
I couldn't tell if it helped that much.
Overall the car is faster with the new shocks and body.
If you can't afford the $360 for the b44.1, its worth the $60 to get the shock bodies and new lid.

I plan on getting the new chassis when they become available.

I anyone plans on getting the new body you'll have to remove a little bit from the front corners of the chassis.
Basically cut a straight line from the narrow part at the front of the chassis to the inside edge of the front undertray screw holes.
Like I said it took about 5 minute to Cut, Sand and CA the edges.

I hear ya brother, always best to shop around.

As for the new motor mount, anything would be an improvement over the current one. What a pain in the A$$. Luckily I'm on a set it and forget it schedule with mine. I've got it set for the track that I race and don't adjust it much.
