Monty, I know I've read it in one of the threads but I cant remember which one, I have CRS..can't remember sh...tuff,what plug should I be using on the FMS for cool/cold weather,say 50's to 70's ? thanks,the FMS is running strong,over 2 gal now.

I sent you a PM saturday and haven't heard back from ya. I'm sure you've just been busy but was really wanting your advice if you can find time.

there seems to be a notch at tdc with the head off and no compression on my engine. is this bad news? basically the piston reaches tdc and then i can move the crank about 15 degrees in any direction and the piston will stay stuck in the same spot. the engine is plenty broken in. but then with the head back on there is plenty of compression so you cannot feel the notch. does this make sense?

if you are worried about it i know where you can get a rod replaced

yes it makes sense and even a new engine has "some" rod slop at tdc , i usually check that at the start of the compression stroke for preliminary then take apart and measure everything . how much fuel through engine? sucked dirt? so many questions
