Just the standard shims on 25%

Think i may of mistyped my issue... The screw that holds the clutch bell in, can it be spun threaded?? as the screw came out even tho it was tight as hell (bell could spin freely tho)

I think he meant clutch shims not the head shims. 5x8x0.01, he's checking/asking that you have only 1mm of end play, the amount the bell can move forward and back on the shaft.

I had one come loose once and now i put a SMALL drop of blue locktight on the end of a small zippy tie and carefully stick it in the end of the crank shaft and wipe it on the tread, this works better than putting it on the screw as there is no chance of the locktight getting on the shims/bearings.

Oh rite, yea I only have about a 1mm movement when all nice and tighty, may have to try the lock tight trick tho

You only need about 0.2 or 0.3mm of play in the bell..shim it up till it's just tight then remove one shim..if you need to add a load of shims remove the flywheel and put a 0.5mm shim behind the collet first.Means you don't drop a load of thin shims every time you swop your clutch bearings.

The gen 5.5 (GX series) parts will work in the gen 5 stuff. The case is actually the same mold. The differences are the porting, cylinder isn't as tight during break in, heatsink, conrod, ti nitride coatings, and the new seals.

We currently have all gx parts in stock. If you have your hobby shop contact us at the email below, we will get them setup as a dealer. You can also pm me your name and your local hobby shop's number and ill have one of my sales guys call them.

Do you know if the rods and crank will fit a GO .28 6 port? my buddy is always looking for spares for his.

4 weeks with no nitro not sure i could do that. I think a tuning video would help a lot of people. Hang in there "LOL"

no idea ..the crank is new and the rod is the older type with the slightly smaller bush diameter for the crank pin(it's a match for the crank anyway)..Like I said the rod is also brand new and I have two other rods with less than a gallon on them..all 3 rods come with wrist pins and there is a pair of circlips for the piston too..check if it's the same..ask mark at massive I should..if it's a yes and I think it will be I'll do the lot cheap cheap..

edit...I should say actually that I fitted the crank and rod into my gen5 7 port and ran one tank through it before swopping it out for a GX crank and rod..so technically crank/rod/wristpin have 1 tank on them..not actually nip...
