quick question. Does anyone know the con rod center to center measurement on the Go 21 rods? im getting around 30mm but want to know if anyone knows the exact number. Thanks!

I don't remember off hand what the measurement is. I can tell you the Go rod fits alot of other motors.

Its the same as the nova R7 rod, so its 29.5mm. Glad I searched around some more, otherwise I would have been off .5mm in the software.

something that GO could stand to work on is head space. The tightest I can get my GO Pro 21 7 port marine engine is .017. That is without any shims (removed all shims) and its about .011 too much. I have to turn down the stock button to get the correct head clearance. Other then that, im VERY impressed with this engine.

Would by chance the same rods as my GX-5R fit in the .25 6 port. the rod in it is gettin a bit loose and it looks to be close but i want some closer on it. thanks guys.

The 28-0600 rod is called for in the 25, 28, and older 21s.
The 28-0600 isn't available any longer.
The 21-0600 is it's replacement and is used in the new GX engines.
