Hey Monty,

So I have a Plus21-4C that the piston rod retaining ring decided to break and take out the piston and sleeve... Any chance you have the part number for the piston and sleeve set and where to buy?

Random question... Maybe it don't belong here but I'm asking it here anyway. My friend just got a Toro Nero team yesterday. I showed up to see the unboxing. Yeah, we're that into it after only a few months. We found in the package where the venturi's are 2 or 3 little shims that look like... uh... clutch shims I guess but I know that can't be it. In the directions it says something about your putting them in the motor I can't remember now. I'm dyslexic so I'm not good with written stuff anyway. I would assume you guys know what they are and might be able to tell me what they're for. Not for my friend, I hope he has it figured out, I just want to know. Not head shims, little washer looking things.

Thanks,
Rich

they are high speed needle gaskets

you are suppose to replace the gaskets every time you move the fuel inlet banjo on the high speed needle assembly but i recommend it not needing to be done

only if they leak

i havent had one leak in 4 years

I like to put Lucky 7 on a toothpick and run it around both gaskets and the base...whether I move it or not.

Hi Monty so as I was posting earlier I have gone ahead and ordered my new front bearing and con rod along with new wrist pin clips, do you have any tips for replacing the con rod? I don't see how I will be removing the wrist pin? I do see slight grooves in the piston which look to be where I will pry out the wrist pin clip but can you confirm for me.

Thanks
Sean
