Your are correct - GSW!! What is a good safe temp? Is 25% Byrons OK to run? I ran it in my RB with good results. Thanks for you help.

Yea buddy. My +4 has been a dream. Smooth, plenty of grunt, and awesome runtimes. I cant' wait to acquire another one to put in my buggy again. Right now the engine is in my truggy, and the engine has near 5 gallons so far. Huge difference in the overall "feel" of the truck. It feels ALIVE!! LOL.
Thanx again man.

Hi.
I've to make a comment to the temp suggestions:
A few weeks ago, I perticpated in a race. Outdoor temp was approx. 10º C (50º F). I drove a Plus 4 engine, Byron 25%, Novarossi C5 plug and 9901/41001 pipeset. I'm not a pro driver and my laptimes was 53 sec., where the fast drivers (Plus4 Team engines with 2084/41021, Byron 25% and Novarossi C6 plugs) drove 49 sec. laptimes. My engine was runnig perfectly with a temp around 105 degrees Celsius (221 F). The other Novarossi (top) drivers had a temp around 122º degrees Celsius (251 F).
(I could run +11 min pr tank and the fast guys +9 min...
)
In other words: Adjust your engine to where it runs "perfect" for your driving skills/style and THEN meassure the temp.
Sorry Monty, I don't want to correct you, because I know you are an expert when it comes to our fine small engines

As far as temps anything from 200 - 300 degrees is a good range
Just make em run right is the most important thing
