Default idle??

My hes p5 will not idle once it warms up and I am getting When I 1st fire it up it will idle for ever but after a tank it's a no go. Engine is running well apart from this around 9 mins a tank @ 260 ish on a exergen gun. I have done the usual air leak checks and nothing only thing I have not changed is the mugen fuel tank. Any idea's would be welcomed and appreciated also base needles as well. I've read through the tuning section and watched the novarossi vid and I'm stuck
Thanks again.

sounds like a low compression situation

you can try to drop head shimming to .70mm or send it in to raya racing for a resize

how much of what fuel ?
is you r filter system up to snuff?
has it sucked dirt ?

have you always ran it hot?

?

you mean my version of a p5?

i am pretty partial to the fusion x line lately, ran the x3 in my buggy last weekend , lil smaller track and it was DIALED!!!!

x7 and 2096ss in truck runtime was ridiculous!!!!

Thanks Monty I'll try a re shim, Byrons 30% only. It usually runs a bit cooler than that but it's been 100 degrees+ here. I swap my filters after each run but will have a good look inside when I pull it apart.

Monty,
I pulled the shim and cant not find any evidence of dirt but I want to reset the needles to base and start again so what would you recommend? This is one of your full mod p5's.
Thank you.
