Nah - Aussie is a great place, but it's full of Australians
Sorry Flanno
You would be very happy in either place boys, plus their only 2.5 hours apart by air . They don't call it "Godszone" down here for nothing
I'm with you Flanno - Kahli is hot

Ok, so my non-GO in my MP9 finally gave up the ghost on Sunday, so it's time for a new mill.
I'm undecided whether to run a MG66 or GX7R, knowing that the MP9 has a super sooth and free running drivetrain, i'm thinking the MG66 may be just too much.
Or do I just bite the bullet, and GO for it

run the mg66!...but if you dont have enough $ then get the gx-7r!...what are you running it in?....alot of people have been running the gx5r cause it has the best of both worlds on the top and bottom!..but it also depends on what tracks you usually run on!..either choice you will love em!...i cant wait to get me a mg66!...maybe we can get the MASSIVE MODS name more common out here in RCMECCA SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA!

, have been running a Sirio EVO4 STI in my MP9, which I got as a bonus at the time, haven't ever really been happy with it though
.Will get in touch with Mark about the MG66X then
Running a Gen 5.5 5 port presently in ST-RR truggy, which has been (and still is) awesome

Of the GX Range the 7R is the ultimate buggy motor, but the MG66 is just that bit more special and well worth the extra dollars. You will be impressed how smooth it is, yet how strong it is. And it will just keep winding out, and out, and out ...........
Yeah mate - do it

Always reference the needles from flush with the housing. That way you don't have to screw them right in and risk damaging the tips if you go too far and jam them in the jet.
Long needle factory setting is both needles flush
Short needle should run at these settings too, but the difference is the amount the HSN goes in from flush for a reasonable race tune.
Long needle carb - LSN 1.25 to 1.5 turns in from flush, HSN 2 to 3 "HOURS" (not turns) in from flush
Short needle carb - LSN 1.25 to 1.5 turns in from flush, HSN around .5 of a turn in from flush.
NB: HSN is very sensitive on these carbs. 1 hour of adjustment will make a noticable difference.
Open the throttle slide fully. If the LSN has pulled out clear of the receiver jet on the right hand side, you have the short needle carb.
If the LSN's tip is still in the receiver jet at WOT, you have the long needle carb.
Tuning tips for both carbs are on our web site at www.go-racing.co.nz - go to the Tech Tips page from the main menu on the home page.
