I'm looking at getting a few of the Turnigy 5000mAh 4S 40C Lipo Packs but they are 149mm x 37mm, does anyone know it this will fit in the RC8Be battery tray?

Also, if I go with the Turnigy 5000mAh 6S 40C Lipo Pack will it fit at 149mm x 49mm x 52mm?

Default Chargers!

I have a megapower charger.
I charge my batteries from 12 to 20 amps.
The problem is getting a good Power supply!?!?!?!?
Don't know why they have high powered chargers and no power supply to feed them.

But if you want a simple and easy charger no power supply get the dynamite passport ultra, charges up to 8 amps and good customer service from horizon.

But if you want to be a little cooler check hobby King and they have some really good chargers but you will need a power supply.
try this: TURNIGY MEGA 400W Lithium Polymer Battery Charger
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...attery_Charger
Power supply:20A twin 12v switching DC Power Supply for Chargers

This is my charger:Mega Power Gemini-2014 Duo 600W Charger

The new nano batteries from HK can charge at 5C!!!~!!!!

Default Batteries

I run the Nano Tech as stated before.

But you have to modify the Rc8be tray.

HK has the 6000mah battery at 170mm +
but I actually got a chance to measure them and found this is not accurate. They are roughly 155mm, a tad to long for our trays.
But dammit I want to run these batteries so a cutting I go....
Tray:

Battery in tray:

Sorry don't know how to attach in those nice little boxes that explode!!!????

These batteries are awesome and they are not the best batteries they have. They have some higher "c" rated (dishcharge rate) batteries

The battery tray will hold a 140mm battery(stock unmodified).

I run the 3s batteries I have a four cell same size (length)

Man, that sure messes up my plan for a Turnigy; I was hoping it would fit without any mods but the Turnigy is 147mm long. Bummer

thanks for sharing the specs.

AE. A long time ago, I learned the hard way not to put any Integy stuff on my RC cars.

I love the elite mount.
Elite mount FTW.

but the high temps here in Texas are killing me and my buggy!!!!
Mike's new track looks frickin' awesome. If I ever get sent down to Texas for a business trip again, I'll bring my RC8Be.

I charge my batteries from 12 to 20 amps.

With high quality LiPos that can take a 5C charge, the limit usually isn't the power supply. It's the circuit breaker that you plug the power supply into. I charge my LiPos at 10.2 - 10.8 amps.

Next time you make a post, scroll down and look at the "Additional Options" box. Click on the Manage Attachments box and then you can upload pictures from there.

These work and are a great fit, $40 so can not really go wrong with them they are 4500 mAa 30c. I use them for qualifiers and practice they are great batteries. Just get a few to justify the expensive shipping hobbyking.

I have a 5400mAh 35c protech that is $140 I use this in the mains it has more punch. This is noticeably faster than the turnagy it is the best power I have seen without spending well over $200 The quality look and feel is impressive.

You need a 5mm Mod 1 Pinion.

I have been running the Robinson Racing pinions and have had good success. I know a few people who are running the Novak and the Integy pinions and like them.
