Make a ton of those things Brandon. They are marvels of design and I guarantee they will sell for the RC8 model. I know of many people just in my area who are interested.

Yup, I need one also. I sent you two e-mails but never received a reply. You must make a nice product to have all the folks here wanting one.

Default elite rc mount lesson learned

my asc pinions will not work with my Elite rc mount. The set screw side of the pinion is too long for me to get the proper mesh with the spur (front to back) I will have to use a losi, novak etc type pinion. Just a heads up for new buyers/installers

Default ESC & Battery

Well I'm almost finished building my very first 1/8 buggy but I was wondering which battery connectors most of you use with the Mamba 2200 and what size connectors are best?

I was looking at some of the Dean connectors but can't figure out which are best for the 2200.

Also, do you guys wrap your motor to ESC cables?

got my 6s system put in today. ran a few laps here at the house to break in the batteries. the 9oz weight lose is very noticable. thing's got more steering than i know what to do with, pushing is gone. It will almost pivot on the front-end without braking.
What is the lightest weight allowed to run at most races on 1/8 ele.
i should be around 6lb 11oz +/-.
Anyone have some base set-ups for running an RX8,1400kv motor, and 6s 2650mah. I am geared 18/50 until my 17tooth pinion comes in.
Thanks guys

Please use Hotbodies pinions they have the shortest shank, or my 2nd choice would be RobinsonRacing

How long of a main event can you last with a 2650 mah battery? Would that last for a 10 minute main?

should be able to make 12 minutes. My buddy is making 12 minutes on 2200mah battery with a different motor setup. I should be ready to get some runtime ideas today.

Hey guys,
I started putting my RC8Be this week and noticed that the manual does not call for any type of lubrication between the crown and pinion gears, is this correct or you guys use grease?.

regards, jb

Wow, under 7 lbs. How did you do this? I am running the RC8BE and every screw I have in my car is Ti and every nut is aluminum with the GHEA lightweight worlds kit and my car comes in at 7lb 8oz. I am running a 6S 3000 pack that only weighs 412 grams.

I am running almost the same Tekin setup. Here is my setup.
Version 208
Gearing 16/46
Drag Brake - 25
Brake Strength - 75
Limiter - 65
Neutral - 15
LVC - 6
Motor Type - 3 BL/DL
Throttle Profile - TP1
Default TP1 Timing

I use the Robinson Racing pinions and they work out just fine with the Elite mount on the RC8BE.
