gee the alpha must have some clearance out of the box
the novas are just designed the way they are and the alphas are designed the way they are , the head buttons are just machined with different tolerances thats all

you can run 30% fuel with .6 or .7 if you would like but the engine will last longer and run smoother with much better runtimes with .8mm and 30%

at nats i would run 40% with .75mm or .80mm , tuff to make power at 5500ft elevation

the engines now come with2x.30mm alu. and 1x.20mm copper instead of 2x.30mm alu. and 1x .10mm copper thats what i am saying

In the buggy I assume it is more than is needed and that's why you like the 9901 better in the buggy? Or is it just the better mileage that you get from the 9901?

Okay, I thought the 9901 had more torque. Does the +4C Team have more bottom end than the P5? I've never run a +4 and I can't afford to buy a bunch of pipes so I want to make sure I have this right. I'm not the greatest driver, so sometimes I mess up my approach to critical areas, I need the motor to compensate for my mistakes much more than I need fuel economy. Would you use the 2084 or the 9901? Sorry for so many questions, but your the expert and the guy I trust. Looking forward to seeing you at the Byron's race at the Pit.

Thanks Monty

Default WOWZIERSSSS

Ok here goes you BIG bachagaloop!! First off any stranger can look at my sig and see im no stranger to horsepower, and modding motors, from all the best. Well this Plus 4-C Team edition h.e.s. modded, has to be , and im going to say it publiclly, has to be the SMOOTHEST motor ive ever run!! NO SHI$, i have a gallon and a half, and just walked into my door,Monty WASSUP MANNNN ..dont know what you do, but im in love. Twords the end of my day, motor running at 220deg, and its hot as hell here today, with a 6.5 restrictor, but SMOOTH is the key word here, powerfull YES, idle perfect YES,All i been hearing bout those js motors when u come off throttle they jump right down<calm down> well so does mine!!!! The sound of the acceleration is insane,i mean its going to be unfair when i race this sucka, coming from 1/8 on-road this surelly was a treat, ITS NOT A NASTY, UN STEADY BEAST WAITING TO SHREAD RUBBER, RATHER A DEFINED 1400HP BENZ...I am so pleaseeed, THANKYOU BUDDY, i cannot wait to race, the new serpent feels good, and i couldnt ask for anything more in a motor, thats the first time in 20 years of r/c that ive EVER said that.I didnt even realize i was running the same plug that came with the motor, 1 1/2 breakin gallons of fuel, i changed just now for good measure, but didnt need to. Folks i am not in any way sponsered/nor prepped to say this, FACTUAL...if u dont know bout monty, better ask some1 LOL...your the ONLY sticker i put on my larry genova Kustom rc Graphic body, i will post...never happier bud
