EB Mods JS Engine
#286
I took my engine apart to give it a good visuable inspection. Everything looked good. A little carbon build-up on the piston came off easily with a clean paper towel. I still have some pinch on the sleeve with the head button off!!!
Took off the backplate to check the crank and rod and it still feels like new.
Best engine so far!!

I just ordered a race prep from A main for Silver State

Will there be a JS or EB rep at Silver State March 11th-14th?
I'm looking forward to running this engine. I'm hearing very good things about it.

either engine is good in either car, its just a matter of which you like better and how deep your pockets are. I run the stock engine in my truck and its plenty. Full mod will rev quicker and have more rpm/top.

i have seen a race prep in a truggy, and it looked great. these motors are very smooth and have plenty of grunt. i have a full mod coming because it is suppose to be even smoother on the bottom and i have a heavy finger. lol

the full mod will run very similar to the stock engine just rev quicker and have more top.

I attended Motorama this past weekend, and all I could say is this engine is something to be reckon with. I've had all types of engines in my years of RC and I had a chance to see it run in several different cars and it's the best bang for buck ratio on the market, hands down. I bought three just as gifts to my friends.....Pair that performance with the man behind the motor supporting everyone that had one and it can't be beat on any front. THIS ENGINE IS THE BEST KEPT SECRET..BUT IT WON'T BE FOR LONG....GET ONE WHILE YOU CAN...

Sorry for this question but 90% of the racing I do is 1/10 electric. I was wondering what changes will I need to do with the head shimming to run this engine at high altitudes. I will be racing this engine in SoCal and Nevada to start and I assume that the engine is shimmed for those altitudes. Most of my racing will be done in Utah and Colorado at high altitudes with 30% nitro.
Thank you
