Hello,

I am almost for sure getting this motor but because of how new it is I am still a little unsure. From the sounds of it so far it seems like for the money there is nothing that touches it. Only things that worry me is how long this motor will last. So I was wondering how many gallons has people put on there motors how does the wear of the motor seem to be. Does it seem to be able to last as long the V-Specs, Nova +4, etc with normal engine maintenance of coarse?

Thanks for any reply's.
Shawn

2 gallon mark, everything is still perfect, very happy with this motor so far. Coming from running ninja jx for the last couple seasons, i prefer the JS even if they were the same price.

here is my buddies js engine running in his losi 2.0t (single2372)
i was driving his truck in the vid lol.

anyways, even with the 086 pipe this motor is very mellow on the bottom end. its also VERY smooth!

i am running one of singles eb mods go tech in my truggy right now with a go tech 0801 pipe and the thing is a rocket out of the hole.

but here is a video (still working on the tune, its still needs some more fuel to be perfect.)

Thinking of getting myself a new engine for my truggy... Im stuck between the ninja and Js....

What are the differences you guys have noticed between the 2 engines?? I know the ninja is OS quality, can the js be compared to the ninja as far as quality goes, or will I need to perform engine rebuild sooner?? What power differences are noticed, and how is the consuption between the two.

I currently run a picco p7-evo3, and it has great power, and I manage to get about 11-11,5 min runtime..... Will the upgrade be a big difference to the picco?

your asking the ? the wrong way it should be can the ninja compare to the js lol. na personaly iv never owned a ninja but guys who have say the js is stronger and smoother and gets the same to better run times. as far as rebuilding goes its all in how you take care of it. as far as the modding the picco only thing id have done is balancing cause last time i ran one of those the rpm's were all over the place.

Good things are coming from these motors. Unbelievable performance at a great price and good customer service.

Whats up Hambone!! Would you happen to know if Ed did a dyno on the 2013?? Thanks.

Hay Jbright33 just wanted to thank you for the info and pointing me in the right direction. I had the JS on the track today in my Losi 2.0T with the Dynamite 086 and what a beast this thing is. No problem with getting 11-12 min run time, with the 7mm carb insert. The JS is so smooth on the low end with loads of power and screams hard on the top end.
I do own a Ninja jx21 and the two motors don’t even compare with each other. Both have around same run times but the JS has way more bottom end ready power, temped out at 190-220.
I will be ordering another JS
Ninja jx21 now for sell.

JuD,
No dyno testing with the 2013, but a couple team guys have reported it runs good! tons of bottom, not as much top, good run times but not as good, sounds awesome! typical 2013 characteristics. The JS is not so pipe sensitive so try what ya got!

I know for a fact how well the 086 pipes works since i ran my buggy with a 9886 nova pipe. It's a killer. Very curious to see how much better the RE10 losi will be. Dyno shows it to be alot better on top, mostly equal everywhere else.
