Bearing? Go streight to Boca http://www.bocabearings.com/main1.as...e&pg=2&mfr=131 or one of the other distributors. Any further dificulties here feel free to email me direct. Changing bearings is a very simple cheap and a nessisary evil
Headbutton reconditioning service includes pitting removal / improving surface finish condition.
Hope this set is vergin , never resized before. If not I will know after set is cleaned and inspected.
Good to have you onboard now using our services.

No never been resized before boca well say what bearing for what motor i need a size. I do have digital calipers but i thought i need the bearing out the motor. I look at the head button to see if it needs it or not. I just dont want to buy the wrong size bearing and no info on the motor anymore because the age. Dont even know what the size of the crank pin is but everything looks good. Motor had about 13 galons before it let go. Thanks

Was nice talking with you the other day, sharing our Insight different areas of expertise.
Yes, Yesturday all work no play ( NO YAKIN ON THE PHONE< LOL) completed orders on the table. A couple older engine models...Couple new. What 6 of the 9 sets had in common was premature piston wear caused by dirt/mud contamination....Likely more like 7. Doesn't take much guys...Dirty/wet air filter, thru a poor sealing front bearing, or in with a hurry up glow plug change durring a race.Unfortuanitly each and every rc nitro racer out there has already, or eventually will have a incident causing engine life loss. Although , I personally have provided a safety net these racers with my process improving surface finish conditions with improved sealing capabilities. My vision 8 + years ago, and is still is to tool the race clubs/track across the globe providing them the option to successfully resize (often brand new damaged engines) themselves, in a more time efficient manor. Point is, Although I am flattered to be considered by any one person the best in the resizing business, there will be someone with great innovated new creative resizing ideas that could possibly very well materialize some day. As for now, my resizing method (mild controlled aloy reconstruction)using internal and external control is what works best for me and other guys tooled by RayAracing. Good luck to those attempting their own individuality trying to shoehorn an accuracy demanding process. I mean that , I'm not here to dog anyone personaly.
Tomorrow in the garage working on my own stuff, in with close observation a new engine breakin.
Resizing tooling & service questions welcome by phone the remainder this week.

Ray, I have one or two mills I'd like to send in, one of them being a VSpec, but wanted to get your thoughts on resizing and how long it usually lasts (assuming I am not abusing my motor) before needing to touched up again and how many times can you resize a sleeve before it's shot?
After reading through this post I know where I will be sending my motors for a facelift. Thanks Ray for the information!

Hi CM,
In consideration the VSpec engine model resized longevity , we're seeing anywhere from 3 gallons "medium tightness" reconditioned-resized results. Italian based engine models a tad more. Please note a "medium" tight resizing is with nowhere near the metal pinch as new, and should rebreakin much much faster. As for the number of resizings per engines life span, I prefer to use dimensional reconstruction factor as apposed to number of times, which is approx 0.0008" max total before geometrical fit becomes loose effecting engines performance becoming Flat. To elaborate here, the normal unabused piston + sleeve set is resized approx 0.0003" per one service here with me.With that said , your unabused piston + sleeve set can be reconditioned-resized (2) times, while another that sucked dirt will get "one". I hope you find these answers a little more specific to that of commonly have been generalized.
Hope you find my services addvantagous to your future racing needs. Thanks!

Ray I am pretty sure you are running the P5's in your buggies correct? Or maybe it was the + I forget. If you are, or if anyone else out there is, are you using the R7 Limited Edition Extra Strength Rod (NVR07009)? How are they holding up? I already purchased one, but I guess I would ask anyway...

I ran a P5 a few years back. I just pulled a R7 conrod OEM from a Nova 21 plus 4 engine 3-4 gallons from new that looked as could have gone another gallon. Quality item. Concidering engine is allready briken in the replacement R7 should go twice the distance.
Speedrob,
Your Sirio Kani parts arrived and is serviced. Crankpin wearis with 0.0015" low and high measurement. Reasonably good shape yet. Conrod of course should be replaced. A nova conrod R7 I have on the table showed to be with identical wristpin size+ crank pin bushing size very close hard to read but within a half (give or take a few tenths)thousandth at worst, and length from centerline is concentric. Hope this helps. Will return ship tomorrow.
