Ray what exactly do you check for when parts are sent in? Do we send the whole engine to you? Or just the piston/sleeve sets? I have two Novarossi's that I think would benefit from your service. A Plus 21-5 and Plus 21-5K. They both kinda became stubborn this last summer, chasing the tune a bit. Anyway they both have around 5 gallons and I don't think they're spent just yet. So please let me hear some more info and are the order forms on your website current?

thanx
Chris

I am looking at the piston+sleeve set sealing capabilities , established by pistons clearance in sleeve bore and their surface finish conditions. Please review process described on my website http://www.rayaracing.com/prodresize.htm

Send the sleeve , and piston (with conrod attached) only.

I see many Plus 5's

Order forms on website is current. My girlfriend maynot think I am though

Contact info below abvailable when needed. Thank You!

Jerry did Ray resize ur GRP for you? if so that thing was screaming in the main yesturday.
Nice run by the way...

My brother lost his air filter on a freshly broke-in speed, lost all compression and wouldnt run. He sent it off to Ray to get resized and came back like new.
He now has just over 8 gallons on it, and still runs GREAT!

Thanks Ray for your great service...

Jerry, 6th place "A" main with the resized GRP....Sweeet!

RC-Batt, I appreciate the feedback on your brothers Speed piston+sleeve set. Sometimes I feel like the Maytag guy shipping these servicved P&S sets out and never hearing from the customer again 8 gallons ++ on "one" resizing service is GREAT

Speedyrob, Your welcome! I do not think you will have too much trouble with matching conrod.

Building , testing, and shipping resizing tooling this week.

No calls before 3pm

Thanks again guys!!!!

Thumbs up

Good Stuff Guys. Good Stuff. Ray its great you are so involved with RCTech, it benifits everybody here, and its great expertise advice everyone's getting IMO.

Ok Ray here we go. Yes once again I doi have another P5 question lol....

My Crank pin on the Paris modded P5, is well, pretty worn out. I am eyeballing the Plus crank. Are there any mods to the crank out there that you could think of that I would benifit from? Or should I run it stock(the new plus crank in the P5)?

JD,
Although I have ran the P5 and did not find the stock crank pin wear factor very good (comparing with the plus 4 you had mentioned) I myself have not tested any replacement that engine model. Outside inspecting a bunch of cranks of different models for crankpin wear I am with limited experience the performance characteristics one model from the next. I do see quit a bit of talk this subject on Mark at PowerHouse and Monty's at Houstons Engine Service their threads. Definitely a subject for our friendly Mod guys, and their expertise.
