These are the ones he uses. You can also use X-Ray type.

With the Losi shafts, you can use TC3 bearings but you must use the Losi steering blocks. With the HB or Xray parts, you will still need the Sperpent bearing to make everything fit. The HB or Xray bearings will not fit in the AE steering blocks.

I'll see if I can find the correct bearing size. It is an unusual size and not very easy to find.

at what point are you guys finding that you need/should do these upgrades to the steering throw?

If you use the stock driveshafts and steering parts, you may encounter binding at full steering thorw. You can test this by setting the car with the wheels off the ground and giving the car a little bit of continuous throttle. While the drivetrain is moving, turn the wheels all the way in each direction to determine if the driveshafts are binding. They most likely are.

I always limit the steering throw using a 1deg shim. This limits steering throw to about 80% which is more than enough for 13.5 and 17.5. If your driveshafts are binding, any more throw than this will not give you more steering.

if you are changing bearings or the driveshafts anyway, it is a good time to upgrade. Otherwise, shim the steering.

Probably on the steering knuckle, where the arm touches the C hub under full lock.

Nah, not Associated style, the car still does pretty well. They will keep it around and just let other companies produce the aftermarket parts to fix it's faults.

5X10X3 ,Try any general Hobby store that also stock E SKY Heli parts.
Number 000371 ,way cheaper than the Serpent bearings and readily available. 4 per packet.If you have no luck i have also got some from BOCA

With the HB shafts you will also need another wheel hex and pin.HB or XRAY will do the trick,and slightly open the the caster block(dremel) and the bone blade(re drill as the pin in the HB shaft is larger)

Probably because if you just limit the steering throw with your radio, any bumps the car encounters could still force the steering block farther into throw. With the shim glued to the steering block, there is something solid in place to limit the actual physical throw.

Hi!
Hm, I wonder how much are you using D/R on TX.

In my case, I set EPA L/R for max, I mean, block touch c-hub, and
values on setup station is about 26deg (if I remember, +/- 1 deg),
then at track start driving, and I found that for me, D/R is about 61 on my 3PK. With 60, it turn not enough, with 62 too much and oversteer,
start driving nervous ...

Maybe I should play with bigger D/R and try turn into corner harder and
0.5m latter then with 61 ?

I'm ready for story
