Good for you USP45 let us know how that works out for you. I have wanted that controler since before it came out but was skeered of the reported issues.Beat the crap out of it & report.

BTW I had the same issues with my dx3r but sent the recievers in for warr & no more issues, has happened on 2 different recievers & I know one was due to ant damage.

question

After running the motor for the day , I`v been told to remove the glow plug and add after run oil ...

Instead , could I just remove the air filter
and add the oil straight into the carb ?

As long as your sure no dirt drops in when removing filter neck, good luck on that though.Or remove fuel line & add from there.

what fuel are you gonna use george ?

i usually just run em out of fuel and its all good . i take my engines apart and clean them fairly regularly though byrons gen2 30/11 or 30/9 is what you should be running

Houston, I just finished my first gallon on my nova n21bf limited. It was blue thunder 20% sport blend. I want to start using a 25-30 % with it now. I notice you recommend byrons. Would I have to add any shims to this engine to do so with either one, 25 or 30 ? Also, Ive been using dynamite platinum series plugs, cold. The temp here is about 90-95 and even a little hotter in the summer. Ive noticed alot of people run oddonnel plugs in their nova engines. Should I use a cold, medium, or hot plug with these temps outside ? oh yeah, we also have pretty high humidity here also.

also, when changing to a higher percentage fuel what will this do to my temps and tuning ? will it run richer or leaner ? sorry for all the questions. Its my first nitro car. Ive ran electric for about 2 years but finally stepped it up a notch. Nitro is the bomb !! will never go back !!

i dont feel that is an important part of your engine setup. doesn't really make a difference in anything that i have found , just dont max out your epa on the hi throttle and you should be just fine
