The quality seems pretty rough…… I believe xray original options are much better.

Most of the time i run the blue's all around, these are comparable to the purple xray ones, the reds are comparable with the light purple. When grip is low i use the red's in the back.

Heard the factory one don't last long. Sorry I got a used NT1 with a red gear hub and not sure who makes it so I am not sure how the factory one will hold up. All my friends are using the red one and I am still using the red one I got with the car and had around 50 runs on mine and it is holding up well.

hi m8
some times fuel gets spilt on first gear and chases it to slip ..
when you took the first gear off was there oil on the shaft?
yes im using the ybslow battery tray and chassis weights
with my vmx 1300 lipo battery i put the extra 35 gram weights on the exhause side to balance up the car
i found the tray an weights settled the car down heaps you can also come in to the corners a little bit hotter

are you talking about serpents new or old springs? cause the new serpent red is stiffer in the rear than light purple(looks pink), and blue front is even stiffer than light purple.. will recheck tonight but thats what I remember rating them as when I checked them a couple weeks ago.

Thanks man! Ask my friend last night and he told me they are 3 racing one. I am using light purple (look pink) up front and purple at the rear on high grip track we race on. For dusty parking lot I usually use purple up front with light purple or purple at the back.

O sorry forgot to mention, this is with the old springs, never used the new one's.
Had the old one's laying around from my 710-720 days.

Btw, did anyone tried lowering the engine?. I think it's pretty easy to lower it by 1mm, because i'm currently running the serpent WC clutch with the small flywheel and it's pretty hard to get the starter wheel to grab the flywheel.
I would only like to know if you will run into issues with the stock flywheel i.e. hitting the ground.

if you had the inclination you could lower the engine 1mm or so by milling the bottom of the lower engine mounts.
