The 2.0 spring is not only thicker wire but also has more coils closer together. I think most of the problem is the spring is coil binding and has no give. The best answer seems to be to run the 1.0 truggy spring (LOSA4407) on the buggy and truggy.

Tried that combo as well with no luck but I find it odd only the 2.0 buggy had the issue ....... truck was fine.

I stripped the head of my servo because of this. AND i didn't finish an A-main that i qual'ed 2nd because of this!! I had to click "submit" on amainhobbies to replace parts because of this!!!

I end up adjusting the servo saver. HOPEFULLY, it should be fine now. In all honestly, i do not think i will ever buy a RTR kit again. I enjoy putting my kits together and I am confident everything is built with a lot of TLC. I built my MBX6 with a lot of TLC and I have not broke not ONE part on it. And I have been racing it for about 4 to 5 months, almost every weekend now.

By the sounds of it a bunch of people broke either savers or servos at Motorama on the 2.0's. I wonder how many were due to not checking it out first to make sure it was working properly? I'm thinking it was probably due to cold temps and the saver being too tight. After I loosened mine almost 2 turns from stock it started working great. It's just as smooth as can be now. I always run the losi aluminum servo horns and I might pick up the losi aluminum servo saver top as well. But I'm going to give it a shot like it is for now.

If the kit says "ready to race", why check anything out. And if you have to check one thing out, then you have to check everything out. That requires taking everything apart and putting it all back together. that's more work than putting a kit together. Bottom line, losi should just create kits. Or have a kit option.

Yeah I agree with you because I'm sure someone overseas sitting in a factory assembly line making 20cents an hour doesn't take the time to make sure it's 100% right. Like most if not all of these r/c's they are mfg'd in fast paced assembly lines. I love my losi vehicles but if I don't build it I go through it and check it out. It's just a routine I guess. I don't trust anyone else building it than me. I did find a couple things wrong with my T 2.0 today.

The center diff was leaking terrible

Swaybars were overtightened and wouldn't budge

Servo saver was basically as tight as can go

One of the shocks was leaking at the cap.

The kit was actually missing one of the servo mounting tabs that the screws thread into in the radio tray.

One of the servo saver post screws had a ton of locktite on it while the other had grease on it....lol.....yup grease!


That's what I found by tearing it down today. So I definitely know what your feeling. It's called a race roller but I'd say it's about 90% race ready out of the box.

Im sure this question has been answered already way before but im to lazy to go back an look through all this...but i was wondering if the 2.0 body will fit on 1.0? with slight mods im guessing? anyone else done this? converted there 1.0 to 2.0? im looking forward to doing this...let me know...thnx

Besides the fact its ugly...but it is proven to help the Temps out a little bit plus i just wanna try it out. ha ANYONE KNOW IF IT WILL WORK?

and diff bearings forsure

the bearings that come in these kits are not the bearing you can buy off the shelf

Hey, make sure you locktite the upper arm links. Although the nuts are on there tight, they still come loose. Just locktite the ball joint. it's threaded...
