8T 2.0

I think you all should spend more time running your 2.0t's and less time picking them apart. The truck is good and the guys here in my area haven't had an issue with any of this. We change bearings as part of our maintenece program and beat the hell out of these trucks. To this date out of the 6 guys I race with not one of use has broken a single part.
I'm sure a lot of folks have had no issues with theirs and I'm glad to hear that. All the issues are minor pain the @$$ stuff and not a big deal if you look at the big picture. I would recommend going over any RTR or roller and checking for loose screws, etc regardless of the brand name. As I mentioned earlier...this truggy has hella potential, I'm just a bit dissappointed in the quality of the build.

+1 my new 2.0 ran all about 5 mins before the shock ball ends stripped out right from the Ti-Ni shafts the shock retainers flew off right after that and left me looking for my rear gray spring like a total deeb at the track

Oh well, wasn't like I didn't now about some of the issues before I bought it and overall, they are very minor. I've been in this hobby for 20 yrs and every R/C car has its strengths and weaknesses! Horizon is sending me new C/V Axles and since they are located in Illinois I should get them early next week.

every car has its minor problems upon debut but my LHS had two 2.0 T'S both had broken parts in the box I had real issues giving him 570 cash for a broken race roller even though he gave me the parts to fi... Quality control over at Horizon needs to be improved IMOP I would of preferred to build this as a kit

Fix the issues and then run the $@it out of it. After these few bugs are worked out the truck is awesome well worth the frustration. I felt the same was when I put it on the track and then 2 laps the rear shock ends stripped out. Back to the pit and a quick fix 5 more laps and then one of the inner rear camber bolts backed out. back to the pit a few more laps and then the steering servo horn stripped out. It took awhile to get through a full tank of fuel without any issues. The rear bearings are a big issue. So bad that the King Headz alum rear hub uses a bigger bearing. I fought the rear outer bearings for a month before I upgraded to J-Dub modded hubs. The rear bearings would not last a 30 min main. Now with the larger bearing its no problem. I am telling you though once the bugs are worked out the truck will reward you. It is worth it.

From my past 15 yr experience with losi and others I love Losi stuff, BUT in the past I haven't had that many things have so many issues like this truggy. their QC has went way down hill. Yes this truggy has been the best truggy I have ran to date once it has been gone through and fixed. BUT this was supposed to be 110% ready to bolt on motor and electronics and race, and some did. Paid their race fees after driving to the track and getting there and poof broken down with no way of fixing it. Money lost. But hey we are fortunate to have a forum like this and guys who have had the problems get on here and tell some of us dummies how to fix it and tell us other ways to make things better like J-Dub doing his mod work. Things like that.
So thanks to you members who have helped me and US get our stuff going.
And for me personally I truly want to thank Integra and FrankL and Losi-Racer for helping me get mine right. They have been here helping guys throughout this thread. I don't mean to leave names out but their are alot and those are just the guys I have dealt with the most..
