Tamiya TRF415
hmmm, not sure about that...
Most of the time, we ended up running 3-hole pistons, with slightly heavier oil. Also removed the red foam piece from on-top of the shock, which helps reduce the pack and make the car smoother overall.
Raising the roll centres does work... but I personally never went above 1.5mm (and that was on a very quick track, with a 27t), but that did carry awesome corner speed.
Something else that was done as a general rule of thumb was white/blue springs, and no roll bars. Have a look here, if you haven't already for a number of setups that work well

When running the 27t, I always preferd the one-way, as it carried the corner speed much better, and suited my style.
With faster motors, I prefered the spool... especially now with brushless, as you can loose the drag brake to help keep the speed up.

On very small tracks, where corner speed isn't so important, i'd be going with a fixed centre layshaft. I've found that you can scrub off a little bit of speed on turn in if need be.

UPS should be here this afternoon so I can put my car back together and be ready for racing next Saturday.
I can't wait to run the car again. TRYHARD has some very great info on his website. If you haven't checked it out yet I suggest you do so.

What is the difference between the front upright that is used in the MSX, and the new one that comes with the 416? Can the new one be used with the LW suspension on a 415? I've been having trouble finding the LW front upright, so I was wondering if the new version can be used in it's place.

if you want to use 416's front upright, u must also change the bearings and C-Hub to 416 version. CMIIW.
but i don't know the swing shaft, whether it still can use the 46mm swing shaft or must change to 44mm (416 version).

is there a stronger lower arm for the 415 ??
they seem brittle to me
i'm new to touring car racing (come from M-03 racing)
and i'm trying to learn to drive a TRF415MSXX MRE indoor but as soon as i make a small mistake i break the front suspension arm on the barrier !!
getting a little disgruntled with it !!!
