skyline pipe should not be a bad choice... i have try it on sirio evo 2 and is running gd.. so i think sti4 should not be a problem too!!! hehe!

skyline wont be a 'problem' for any engines in fact but i want to know how far/bad is it compared with 2611 as 2611 is deemed the best pipe for sirio.

also will 5 or 6 fins manifold be more suitable for the sti4 (if using skyline)?

I had tried the Skyline with the Evo 3 Sti before and the power was significantly lesser as compared to the 2611. Have not tried with Evo 4 before but my guess is that it will be with around the same results......
Sirio Engine requires a longer pipe as it is very good on high end revs but a bit flat on the bottom punch so the 2611 compensates for this
Hope this helps

What would cause the Sirio EVO 4 to continually stall at the end of the staight, with temps at 240?

the moment when you let off the gas or still at full throttle?

if it's when you're still at full throttle; you're too lean, gotta rich it.
if it's when you've let off the gas, you can try to bump up the idle abit.
(also check the radio epa on the brake/throttle)

Kemp,

Your idle needle is probably set to low. With my Sirio it idles great when cool but once the temp gets up a bit over 225 the idle will drop down a bit and sometimes the engine will die out so now I run with a bit of a higher idle when cold and once it gets up to temp its fine. Also, what plug are you running? With the cooler temps we've been having a 6 or 7 plug is a bit to cool and the engine may have trouble staying lit at idle. You can drop a shim or go to a hotter plug. I went to a #5 plug and haven't had a problem.

Daniel

Yep, I'd have to agree, here Sa Antonio, Texas a few of us are running the Evo 4 Sti and it's a bit like some of the Piccos I've had.... Likes to be fat on the bottom end.
