Do LRP turbo plugs fit Sirio turbo heads for the .21 size motors?

LRP Turbo = Picco Turbo = Sirio turbo?

The sirio plugs are probably the least expensive glow plugs available. Stock up on them when you can find them.

Also, I just ran my second race on my XXX. It is still breaking in so I am periodically still having the engine "go rich" on me. Overall I am quite happy with the engine.

Now I have two good choices with the IDM and the Sirio engines.

Try the Novarossi 2630 with the medium header. Works great on my modded Evo 4 STI. Motor is much better off the bottom and still has plenty of top-end just keep an eye on run time cause it does like to burn some extra fuel.

XXX=good. I have three races on mine now and it seems to finally be broken in although it still locks up on the box every once in a while.

scott you have the xxx or the capricorn version?
i have ready that the capricorn version takes more time to break in becauce of his excessive pinch.
do you use the 2611 pipe?how many minutes it can make?
did you changed the rod after the run in?
where is his power band?it is like the others sirios?high rpm style?
thanks !

I have the Sirio XXX. I have only run the 2611 pipe (older version). I am still using the orginal rod as they seem to last the way the Novarossi rods do.
I have not had a problem making 5 mins yet but it doesn't get the mileage that the IDM engine gets.
This engine seems to have a more broad power band. It still has good top end like what we are used to, but better bottom end than some of the earlier Sirio engines. I do have a good clutch setup that seems to work pretty well.

If you are taking about the Sirio Evo 4, I do have one and like the XXX better. If you are talking about the IDM Evo 4, I just ordered one a few mins ago and should have it here in about a week. I want to give it a try at the Motonica Grand Prix which is in about 3 weeks.
