No 7 port. The engines will be priced competitively, but affordable. This will be something you GO fans will really love!
With the DLC coating, TKO ceramic bearing, Ed's adjustments, and break in ..The engines worth every penny over the price of the standard GO 5 port. Trust me she rips!

Street price on the race prepped engine will be 289.99+ and the full modded version will be 349.99+ please remember that these engines will be assembled in the U.S. and have a name brand quality ceramic bearing included as well as the other features such as crank coating and such.

I'll look into the Race Prepped 5 Port in the future, is there a picture of the assembled engine?

Default carb fuel leak

Hi, I have a go 5 port .21 non turbo and I notice a oily residue all over my crankcase which I think may be fuel? can this leak from the carb? I have heard of air leaks but not fuel. Can anyone let me know if this sounds likely because I'm a bit new to this
If it may be a fuel leak I will check the seals and seal with RTV sealer
Thanks,
James

James,
look to see if you can find the source of the leak. check the base of the carb, high-speed needle/fuel inlet, and check the carb boot for any pin holes.

I always use Lucky 7 to seal around the base of the carbs, HSN/fuel-inlet ,and pinch bolt.

It's possibly coming from the front bearing. This will leave fuel and oil over the motor in varying degrees depending on how bad the leak is.

I would like to thank Russell from racefactor and Chris from Holeshothobbies. I had a problem with a 7pt and they did a great job helping make things right. i
It is hard to beat the price of a go-tech and the customer service is great. Thanks again gentleman

Hi All,

I purchased a GO GEN 4 3PT R Spec a while back, previously I had expressed my disappointment. 1st had the Gen 4 carb not impressed, then used an OS VG carb, not terribly happy lacking power in all aspects, then yesterday stuck a NR 359 on road carb with 8mm restrictor and the engine is completely different engine. I could not believe the difference in power and when I took airlifter off to put in after run oil, I noticed that throttle only opening 65-75% Max. So more surprises in stock for me next run….95% throttle

Down side is the 359 on road crab would cost more than engine + pipe put together.

itried a ws73 carb on my 08 version and was not impressed. it runs great with the go carb and has better run times too. i must have lucked out cause you are not the first to have carb issues with the go's. i love them tho, jp-4 with long nova header, woohoo!!

It could be a simple tune issue? check and make sure it is cleaning out. If its not getting hot could just be to rich. Run it on the street and make sure it will clean out and rev up. Usually if its too lean it will pop plugs or run pretty hot.
