What is the reason for the change of LSN needles. I have had a problem with mine running like a pig and will not even move it is so rich when cold that I have to lean the HSN about a 1/4 turn to get it running then it runs great but temps go through the roof and then I have to richen it up to keep running. If I leave it alone when cold it takes about 2 minutes before it starts to go anywhere at all.

another thing people can do is when they get there new engine, is remove the HSN assembly, and take the two washers and rub them on very fine sand paper, just enough to take the new off both sides, and put it back together, this will give a better seal, i do it with the new engines 08's anyway just because i'm used to it.
i am running a 08 3R and 7R currently and have zero lean or bog or inconsistant running out of the engines. I rarley move the HSN any, maybe an hour from box settings, and use the LS to get performance.

I also only had to move the hsn in just an hour...and havent moved the lsn yet from box setting..
Im sure as i get more run time ill be moven it in just an hour aswell on lsn,but for now its perfect..nice trail threw out ..and temps at 225f..solid.

IMO, changing to a needle like the one being used effects the tune to much, with that much needle going into the spray bar the HS doesnt flow as well, making HSN adjustments overly sensitive, alot of people having bog issues are stating that when they went to lean the HS it started to bog after a few laps, this is because your closing off the main flow, on top of closing the spot where the flow enteres the engine, this old version needle allows a broader tunning windaw and less sensitivity, on top of a bit of snap on the bottom to mid feel.

Guys...I've ran 3 of Brians engines and followed his tuning tips on all of them and have had no problems. The Go engines CANNOT be tuned for performance with the HSN....the LSN is where it's at.

So since I can leave my car alone for about 2 minutes running rich as hell and them it will run fine, temps good and everything do you think I should lean the LSN out? I can get the motor running 230-240 by doing what I am doing but maybe I am think just leaning out the LSN to make it good on startup and good after it warms up. Will be messing with it some more this weekend. It runs great and power is awesome then the temps go up and no problems at all but what I have posted.

How can existing customers get their hands on one of these? You just broke in my 3R (I expect it tomorrow along with my pipe) and wanted to change it out before I run the engine. Can I use the LSN from my RB C6bb carb?

I think i have one more i can send ya, just put the new ring on the old needle, you may be able to use the RB, i havn't ever used one in the GO, plus you have the 08 version, i havn't had a lick of trouble out of them. your engine will be pretty fat anyway with the 0801 pipe, just run some more fuel through it and use the LS.
yes, place your HS to flush, or a hour in from flush, and turn in the LS, it will end up 2 to 4 turns in from flush on the LS, and be sure to move your idle accordingly, and sand the HS washers, it helps, just enough to dull them.

I will be out of town this weekend but i will soon post a vid of our 7 port and .25 6 port being ran by 2 X-ray team drivers to show that these engines will run with the GO Carb, the most important thing is give the engine moe than 5 tanks befor you start leaning the HS, and you won't go far with it at all maybe 2 to 3 at most, it's in the bottom, the HS is almost set where it needs to be out of the box.

i ran my new 3 port this weekend needles were still set from break in and i barely touched them all weekend this motor ran great all weekend never had to use more than 1/4 throttle on any part of the track and had plenty of power temped at 230-240 all day

2047 with the 0801 header, the engine will explode out of the turns, and spool up faster, the 0801 pipe and header is a great bottom to top end pipe, it pulls forever

To use the 2047, 0801 hearder...Im going to try this set up.
Im sure you have this set up proven to be the best..
