Default GO .21 7 Port and 2047 Pipe

Hi guys,

Just wanna ask if a GO .21 7 Port and a 2047 pipe can haul ass in a truggy. Currently i'm using the .28 and 2047 pipe on the truggy. Here in the philippines, the 0801 pipe is not available yet.

Thanks,
Jojo

I'm now running the 3 port and an 0801 in my 808 buggy. That pipe gives scary good top and damn good snap too! Pulls real smooth all the way up. I actually fattened up the HSN a couple hours part way through breakin. Plenty of smoke but seemed to be winding up a bit.

Brian, I just got a brand new .25 for my truggy that I dont have yet. RC8T is what I'm am leaning toward. My have to have you do your dirtywork on it!

Thanks for the info, but my LHS does not have the 25 6 port ( Will try to get the .25 when they have it in stock. Should I also stick with the 2047 pipe or get the 0801 pipe?

Thanks,
Jojo

Both pipes are good, i have ran the 2047 and it didn't feel as good the 0801, the 0801 is very close to a NR 9886, till the 0801 came out i always ran a dynamite 086 top end pipe, the 0801 has more bottom and the same if not more on my engines, it's good to have both but if i had to choose, 0801. i thought the 2047 was the cat's meow, but when i got to a very large track, it just didn't have the top i needed, it was chocking off the 3 port way befor the 086.

Question,

I have a 3 port sport w/ 053 pipe. My LHS doesn't carry Go-tech stuff but I've been reading the posts and yall metion to use os short plugs. I've been runing it about 220 degrees and it runs great but I use o.s. 8 and seem to burn 1 out every race day. Am I using the wrong plug? I'm racing in southern Ill. so its a bit hot and humid so that doesn't help. Also, I read to covert to a turbo plug....where can I get one? I know to get the 5-port plug for a direct fit but A-main hobbies been out of it forever.......Thanks for the help, Marcus.

There are a few reasons you can burn up plugs. #1 being if you shut off your motor by plugging the exhaust, always stop the flywheel. Also if your tune is off, maybe too lean on top but the bottom being fat so the temps are fine. It also doesn't help to run it out of fuel. I ran a 3 port sport I modded this last weekend and I was impressed by the Go plugs.

Ok I have a question, I am currently running an RB C6 with the 2045 pipe in my buggy and it is a HANDFULL to drive! Is there a good GO motor that isn't too much of a step down in power compared to the RB? I have been looking and the 5 port is interesting to me but I dont want a turbo motor... Since I have a TON of standard plugs...
