the 2047 i would use on a high bite track, it gives a bit more snap on the low end compared to the 086, the 086 is a great pipe, it offers good bottom end feel but is smooth, good for less grip track, but is still good on high bite with a .25, what kind of feel are you wanting, more bottom less bottom or more mid to top or all top, or linier, thats a smooth transition from bottom to top.

I'm regularly a basher with rtrs. This is going to be my first setup for club racing at the local track so I don't have to much knowledge of the tracks condition. I'm running a 8ight-t with looks like I will be going with the .25 6 port, if that's the best for the losi.I don't know if this helps but I will be racing at Palomar Raceway if any other racers have any knowledge of the track.

I have just ordered an LRP 2063 from Massive Mods for the 5 Port Turbo in my Truggy. I have been running the 2047 but it would appear that the LRP pipe has a bit more low end torque for the Truggy. Will be fun finding out

Hi Brian, great info on those pipes. Does the above apply to the 5 Port Turbo as well. I have both 086 Dynamite and GO 2047. Track I normally run is reasonably smooth, but often has some loose dusty stuff on top and in the corners. I am tending towards the 086 in the buggy going on what you have said, maybe with a 7mm restrictor as well to tame that 5 Port bottom end even more.

Cheers Brian,
I am running a stock standard 5 Port with turbo head, nothing modified at this stage
.
I have the 086 to fall back on if the other pipe proves to much. I have heard a lot about the 2063 and it is meant to give a very smooth power delivery from start to finish, with good performance top and bottom. Without a doubt the 086 is the best pipe I have tried on the 5 port as yet (better than the 2047 in my inexperianced and humble opinion
). I will let you know how the 2063 compares to the 086 in month or so.

I see the topic at the moment is pipes..........
A quick question for those who seam to have alot of valuable knowledge on the subject.
Would the Dynamite 086 work well on the 7 port also? I'm getting this engine with the standard plug.
Going to be racing at Leisure Hours Raceway for those who know the track
I like good bottom end but more important is linear power delivery. Always seams to put me off when I have an engine/pipe combo which BANGS in the power at some stage or other.
Also. What plugs to get at the moment? Thought of the 6?? Would that be hot enough?
Thanks for your help. Good to see such knowledgable people on this thread!!
