Have you done any tests yet to compare this new pipe with the LRP 2063. I am keen to know which pipe out of these two will work best on the 5 Port in a truggy ?

Wow thats a hard one .. The New Go Pipe is awesome , smooth and economical , the LRP has just a little more snap but is a tad thirstier than the Go 2047.

Both are awesome , im torn which one to recommend ..

hey Mark I haven't seen a go 2047 pipe in person yet but looking at the pics it looks like a rebadged Hong Nor pipe is this the case or not

also what would your turn around be on a 7port turbo from NZ it's due for a check up after the nats this weekend either stage 5 or 6 mod

thanks Adrian

Hmm - you have left me wondering guys.
Jason, I have a 5 Port (soon to be turbo head) in my buggy with a Dynamite 086 fitted. Allowing for the cost factor, do you think it would be worth while changing this to the new GO 2047, or is the performance so close it wouldn't matter ?

Thanks Mark, I will have to think about which pipe to get. Truggy on pretty tight lay outs with Turbo 5 Port - I am leaning LRP way. I have seen two different pics of the LRP 2063 pipe so perhaps you could confirm for me - does it have a re-inforced stinger ?

Sorry to be buggin you guys with so many questions, but I want to get the best set up possible first time around for both my rides. Plus I don't think the other half will put up with too much more expenditure on my "toys"
Thanks - grizz

PS: Retro - good luck at the nationals mate. I hope to get down to Hamilton for a look at the finals on Sunday if everything goes to plan.

Iran the HN2047 for the first quals, and then the OS 2060 for the last 2 quals and the main. Noth pipes yeilded 10 mins of run time and felt almost identical.

an air leak at less than one gallon would suck...I'll check it out as soon as I get my buggy back together. I thought that it may have been an exhaust leak too but all the gaskets checked out fine when I broke it down. It's really giving me a fit though whatever it is.

what kind of power delivery do you like, if you like real strong bottom with great top the 5 ports are awesome, like smooth bottom and very strong mid to top the 7 port, the JP2 is fine if thats all you have they will work good with that, the 5 more so than the 7. i love the 5 ports, but my 7 port is taken care of business

if its a hi traction surface go with the 5port, if its a loose surface go with the 7port to help keep control wheel spin...

as for pipes...i would get something other than the JP-2...i would look into a 086 for a 5port and a 053 for 7port...the dynamite pipes are very nice for only $50 each...
