What works best on carpet with rubber - 4 degree or 2 degree castor blocks? Car is new MRE.

JayL - nice meeting you too. it's awesome to see so many Tamiya's out there at speedworld now! It only took 5 years for everybody to jump on the bandwagon!

My car was running great after you suggested the block change, and i drove just well enough to pull out the win.

Now I've got to get my MSX working as well as my EVO IV -

Harsh, you looked pretty good out there too, glad you're loving the new ride!

thanks for the help

Really depends on the size and the tpye of track you'll be running...

Mostly we would use the 4 degree caster block.

Hi there,

Are the following parts right for a oneway conversion on the MRE?

1) RC TRF415 Fnt One-Way Housing

http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=51059

2) RC TRF415 LW One-Way Cup Joint - Lightweight

http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=53704

Any other items i missed for the conversion? (New to tamiya's 415 series)

Thanks,
Diesel.

I've been having trouble with my car. On power steering wasn't very good so I changed my droop setting which gave me the on power steering i was looking for but now when I get on the throttle out of a turn, the rear wants come around. I haven't been able to get a good balance of steering and grip. Does anyone have a suggestion of what to try next.

Also, is moving the rear arms back on the 415 supposed to give you more or less rear grip?

Thanks

Talking RE: SET-UP

I believe more rear traction!
Did you change the droop in the front or both?
You might have gone to far! How much did you change? You should always have a little more droop in the front then the rear! A lot more depending on what tires your running.
Be consistant if you change the droop, don't change anything else or you won't get a good feel of the changes you made. For example, don't rotate the tires or change ride height or shock location. One step at a time and you will feel the result of that change you made. Small steps Grasshopper!

Guys.
Just bought a front diff on Ebay, for this year's carpet season, which seems to have started prematurely - around here. Can someone tell me what suspension blocks give 3 degrees of front inboard toe and 1 degree of rear inboard toe using the standard o degree rear hubs (I, still, haven't quite figured out the chart, yet)? Also, which sway bars work with the 415? Is it the TA05 or the Evo V?
Thanks in advance.
