Here are a couple pics of my car. Finally ready! You can see in the one picture how I reinforced the shock tower. It will not break. Everything around it will break before it does. I glued it together with JB Weld.

Nice grande... Let us know how the low friction gears hold up. Is it easier to remove the gears now with that system?

I like it because I wont be chasing that stupid c clip around when it goes flying. It is just a screw that holds it on. I wone be getting to drive it for a couple of more weeks though because the track isn't open yet. We are going to be like the last ones to go outdoors this year.

Like Chris said, the car does not come with servo horns.

I have only run aluminum servo horns on and off road. I have never bent, broken, twisted, tweaked stripped, torqued or damaged an aluminum servo horn.

Yes, but all it needs is just some small triming and filing.

thank you. I just found more issue is when the radio plate and radio stand are installed, there is no way to put the motor back to the chassis. I had to disassemble the radio stand then I can put the motor in again.

If you take the 2 screws out of the side belt tensioner and remove the side belt you should be able to slide the motor out the side of the car. Saves taking all the radio plate and everything out just to get the motor out.

24t pulley and use the longer belt that came with the kit.
