Here is my review of the Mini Pro V2.

I probably should have done another take, but honestly I don't have the time.

Very good video.
I know what you mean by wanting to redo a video, but never doing it. It just takes way too much time.

Good video. I still don't know why Jose hasn't changed his method for measuring the RPM of the flywheel. There shouldn't be any problems with the microcontrollers that are available to use an rising edge interrupt on the IR sensor with only a single reflector on the flywheel and measure time per rotation.

I seriously considered trying to reverse engineer the firmware or build my own controller board. But I wrote my own software to smooth and analyze the data which was much easier.

Building my own controller board is on my list. But that list is pretty long, and I don't want to build a full dyno. Eventually though, I'll get to it. As to the mcu, yep... The v3 board actually uses an STM32F401, 84MHz, plenty fast enough to get rid of the timer interrupt he uses.

One day, when I grow up, I'll get a dyno.

I finished running the Team Exalt on The Jerry. I think I found my new favorite motor. very impressive numbers.

I finally got around to running the Surpass V6 on the Jerry. It still shows to be a top performer.

So, my biggest question, that I have received, is "how does an Outlaw motor compare to a ROAR legal motor." So, I just picked one up. I'll let you all know what I find out.

Have you ever tested any 21.5’s or. Should the 17.5 be somewhat similar to the 21.5.

with the new roar rules coming september 2025. What motors should we be looking at for the new year and come September

I have not tested any 21.5 motors. Only the 17.5's. From what I have been told, all stock spec motors use the same cans and rotors. The only difference is the windings. I could be wrong, and if I am, please share what the difference is.

The biggest reason I test the 17.5 is due to it being the most popular motor.

At this exact moment, I have the 17.5 Trinity Double Down sitting on my bench. It's confirming a lot of what many of us have been saying. RPM is great, but the torque is the key.

Here's the video for the Double Down. I'm hoping to be able to run it on the Jerry tomorrow night. I'm to busy to do it last night or tonight. I will say that I am expecting this motor to blast through the load tests, but not fail well wide open for longer periods of time.

What's with the "was it banned because it's too fast" subtitle?
