Here's the video on the Team Exalt motor. It's actually a really good motor. I'm surprised it's not more popular. I don't really hear a lot of people racing them.

I haven't run my gold Exalt 17.5 carpet spec yet but it spec'd out pretty well. Rotor strength second only to one of my Hobbywing JUS rotors with a 1796 avg.

You had a Justock rotor read 1796? That's pretty strong! Is your gauss reader calibrated right?

Not a Justock rotor, the G4R option rotor, JUS model.

GOT IT!!!

You stated it was a JUS, and my mind went straight to Justock, and not the rotor model. Still, that is an extremely strong rotor.

Many people run Exalt at my home track. It is a proven performer. I did not mind the one I had, had some decent numbers. To me, it is a refined Revtech stock motor, which many people were clamoring for. SM1/2 almost fit the bill, but not quite.

I would have no problem running the Exalt on just about any track. I would, however, probably go with a Tekin or Surpass if I was running 4wd on a short carpet track.

For me Team Powers has ridiculous torque. That motor is my go to in 4wd. I may try a R1 13.5hd, but time will tell.

this is the standard of rotors its seems lately. I’ve gotten these numbers from Fantom, Motiv, and Exalt using the the Fantom rotor checker and the checker you’re using. I know every checker is different but multiple motors I have been given to test have been upper 17’s to low 18’s.

Have you had your rotor checker calibrated? I just had mine done. It's from WMH Racing. I have my checked often. I use a certified Trinity rotor to make sure my rotor checker is still reading accurately. The certified rotor comes with the measurement from Trinity.

i haven’t sent my WMH back in but it’s reading the same as my Fantom. And when these same rotors are checked on another racers Fantom checker the results are similar.

Those are awesome rotors. that's 12.5 mm strength, right there. Have you tried any of the Surpass V6 rotors?

My V6 Surpass rotors were 1770 and 1778 on a rotor master.

The V6 Stock Spec, I tested, was 1755 and 1771. Powerful rotors off a lot of torque, but they get hot fast.
