I would think it would be more of an issue depending on the surface and/or Class you run.

- Chassis upgrade. So the eb410 chassis will where and may have issues where the front cracks. Would not recommend high speed into a pole.
- 3.5mm pins vs the old 3mm. eb410, you will eventually bend the hinge pins, depending on what you hit. 3.5 is arms, pins and pills.
- Stronger ABCD blocks, again depends on how hard you hit.
- Better wing mount, same issue, it is stronger
- Shock spacers are better, and a lot of people did upgrade to the MIP before the .2 came out.
- Hubs/Spindles, I would think more for high bite where you run lower.
- Front and Rear brace, helps the bulkheads to be stronger.

These are the main items, I believe. I would say run what you have and have fun. As you get more into it, I would consider a new eb410.2. Especially if you are ruff on it.

Could anyone who owns the EB410.2 please measure the total length of the front CVD assembly for me? I'm looking for the length of the driveshaft plus axle (using the 79 mm bone).

This if for a 3D printed buggy project I am working on, and the designer of the buggy used CVDs that are no longer available so I am attempting to source alternatives. Ideally, they would be 108mm overall, with a 78mm bone, but there's probably a little wiggle room.

If you can't find the exact thing you want there is an alternative. It might look a little klugy but you can make any length CVD bone you want by extending or shortening one and soldering the pieces together with a sleeve. Of course, it won't work with aluminum bones and might not hold up for a 1/8th scale or bigger but should be fine for a 1/10th scale. Here's a pic of one I did and you can see how much wear there is at the pin end of the bone while the joint is still intact:

Wow, those do look a lot more beefy than I expected with the solder joint. Definitely looks like a viable route if I can't find a suitable bone/axle combination. Thanks!

Default Stripping central diff teeths

Got a used EB410 to try it out. I just had two teeth on the central diff "dissapear" Second time in a week this has happend. I have never had this issue before on my other 4wd cars.

What is the "fix" to avoid stripping the teeths? I have the carbon option for fixating the bulkheads holding the diff.

You can get the 32p gears from the ET410

Do you have the aluminum mount upgrade for the center diff and carbon supports? I put these on my 410.2 and haven’t had any issues with the center diff.

Have you bought new spurs recently or were you using spares included with your used car purchase? We switched material a little while back so any new spur you buy should be fine.

Thanks for the quick response, I bought a couple of new ones from local hobby shop in Sweden, partnumber is TKR6522B which seem to be an update with the B at the end. I do have the original kit not the .2 Label on bag states (Revised Material) Is there two updates on material or just the B version?

To make it clear, gear is not stripped like when motor is out of place, teeth are in mint condition except for a couple that are missing with a few good ones between.

Is the next step to change to https://www.kullagergrossisten.se/pr...port-eb410-2-0 ?

Hmm.. they way you're describing the teeth stripping is how the previous material would strip. TKR6522B is the latest material and shouldn't do what you're describing.

If it's possible, can you measure the outer diameter of your spurs with calipers? The 2 different materials shrink different amounts and the latest ones are smaller. If you don't have calipers you can try laying them on top of each other to see if any are different in size.

Hi again, I was only able to get the read in mm and that is 43.87mm
