Why does tekno spec such high wt diff oil f c r compared to other cars? tlr uses 5-8000 up ft for example.
Is it cst diff oil or just std? For outdoor clay dusty bluegrove. Thanks

called tekno said the diffs are low volume compared to other mfgs (smaller) . I will test and update changes I make.

Interesting to know, either way car is nicely balanced even on the loosest surfaces...

Car drove incredibly well. Leaving the diff oil as is (kit). I may go up 5wt in the rear to keep the slap down, my track has Big jumps. Very well balanced. Tekno Does did their homework on this update to the car. This car is Sooo good I may sell my tlr 8xe and get the tekno 48.2. Wow

Default +1 hexes

Sorry I’m a super noob that is building my first Tekno and I was wondering if you could send a link to the +1 hexes that you bought?

amain, search for eb410.2 hex. TKR1654X. Amain is bad at saying +1 hex. But search for the part #. They fit the rims better for both the eb410.2 and et410.2.

I didn't see this post anywhere. Is anyone running the 22x-4 front wheels? If so do you run a narrower hex or run as is?

Thanks.

B74 / YZ4 front wheel requires the +1mm hex (TKR1654X +1 hexes)

HB D418 & TLR 22-4 front wheel is the same offset as EB410.2 (OEM hex)

22X-4 wheels would require a -1mm hex. They are the same offset as Schumacher/Xray.

If using 22x4 wheels or xray wheels, run the stock hexes. These wheels follow IFMAR rules for 4wd buggy fronts. Using these wheels and stock hexes will put you at the maximum legal width for the class.

Default Eb410.2

Does anyone know any companies that offer shock spring that are a different color like black? I am not a fan of the silver look. I love the performance of them just not the look. Thanks for any answers.

Hey folks! Jumping into this thread for later. Just got my son a 2nd hand EB410 and I have a new EB410.2 coming from fiercerc. Sold our 17.5 spec cars so these will be used for carpet over winter.
