Something to try if you need more steering is our new adjustable ackermann spindles and plates. Much more steering than our stock spindles in every area of the track. They really give a more direct, connected feel versus stock without being too aggressive. In some ways I actually find them more forgiving to drive because I'm no longer over cranking the radio wheel to get my car in or around a turn. If you do try them I'd to start with the C plates and tune from there.
I just recently threw a set of these on with the C plates. Steering is greatly improved on my car. Definitely requires less input from the radio wheel but like you said, not overly aggressive, just more connected and direct. Great upgrade!

Looks my kid and I are ready for some more carpet during the dirt off season.

the .2 I just finished yesterday and the 410 I got 2nd hand from a local racer.

Question, I've been pouring over setup sheets and the droop is always listed as stroke. What kind of eye-to-eye droop are people running for carpet?

Haven't yet, but MHOR in Aurora has 1/10 clay and turf. Heading there Saturday for Turf Wars.

RAM off-road park had a 1/8 track. Hoping to hit that soon too. I think it's "Fast R Laps" on Facebook that has info on them. There apparently used to be a off-road carpet track in town, but closed in March.

Took our new 410's to the carpet track last night. Coming from 17.5 these things are too much fun.
