It's by the submitted number, which is easily available at the ROAR website.

Re: body weight - we have been talking about this since Scotty came up with the idea. Looking at what is out there, the final weight has yet to be determined, but it will be higher than 90g. Essentially, anybody complaining about it is looking to spritz a body one color. That is not what we want. Beyond that, bodies with add on parts like the Ford GT should not be penalized for looking scale correct. A slightly higher weight is also appropriate, since Scotty's rule is for sedan bodies, almost all of which have lighter material than the typical USGT body.

So I'm weighing some painted bodies, and there will be an answer soon.

I must be doing something wrong, my water based decent painted bodies seem to always way about 2-3 grams LESS than a quick tamiya rattle-canned body.

But damn I do hate racing against 3 or 4 white bodies in the same race, to hard to tell if it's another lapped car, or the TQ untill it's too late.

I'm not seeing any resistance numbers on this list. There is, however, a column for inductance.

Ditto, I keep hearing about the 'easily available #'s" but have never found them. All discussions about ROAR sanctioned events aside, as a ROAR member it should be available

On touring car bodies I do 3 color rattle can light weight bodies backed with white and they come in about 75-80 grams. So if there is a 90 gram limit for touring car bodies what is one to do. Add a bunch of crap to make it heavier. That isn't right either...
And also with the ultra light bodies out there they are 60-70 grams 3 color paint... and last a long time if you don't crash.........

I think the thing to keep in mind is this is the USGT page, not sure if your weights are standard GBS TC or USGT. I know my GBS bodies with 3 or 4 colors airbrushed on are about 80g, not counting wing and that's normal lite not 'pro- or ultra lite. I've not weighed any GT bodies lately but I do think the paper thin TC bodies should be banned and consideration taken in GT to maintain the scale look and prevent the need to have 1 run bodies to be competitive.

I don't agree with banning touring car ULT bodies. If your good enough to take advantage of the weight savings you should be able too do so. Also if your good enough to take advantage of them they last just as long.
Now as far as usgt and vta goes I'm all for the weight limit. Those bodies are about that anyway. And there looking for them too look realistic........
