no prob. going garolite discs is one of the best upgrades on this truck, best being the RC Shox ball diff.

Actually cleaning the fiber pads with alcohol to get scuff marks out did the trick. Short course racing is dead around here. Having fun at a local public RC park is what we do here in my area. The more successful racers have moved on or travel to outside the area events. I like those suggestions and they probably give a good competitive edge.

Thinking of picking up this truck. What is a good "universal" carpet setup? The track will change from time to time, but it appears to generally be a tight track on 6 rolls.

I had a setup years ago that I liked a lot. needs a few aftermarket parts but worked great.

However if you are going with a vanilla truck petitrc probably has some good setups there for you.

That was the first place I looked. There are only 2 setups there, and they are both clay.

I checked the AE website, and there are no carpet setups for this truck.

What gives? Is this thing a lemon?

truck has been discontinued for awhile.

Shoot me a pm with your email address and I'll send you the carpet setup I ended up with. Mind you, it has some upgrade parts on it (stuff from RC Shox, M2C, etc) but you can pretty much get a starting point from there.

Problem with the truck was mainly on 1/8 tracks where its jumping capabilities were kind of odd versus the competition. It can be made to work though, just something you got to watch for.

Hey guys, it's been awhile since I've been into rc. I just picked up a sc10 Prosc 4x4. I'm not getting a lot of front drive out of it. I've put 10k diff fluid and it seems like it's gotten worse. Now I will say I only backyard bash and I have my own track I just recently built and its heavy mudded right now. It's rained the past 2 weeks here in GA. So I'm kind of wondering if it's just the weight of the mud but at the same time the rear end still spins heavily.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Probably the set screw for the driveshaft. All the set screws for all the drive cups need loctite. I mixed red and blue to use on mine.

Thank you. I did notice one of my drive cups was loose before I reinstalled it, maybe one of the others got loose. I should had just went around to every screw and loctite it.

no prob, it can be tough to find things sometimes if the thread isn't getting bumped. I usually just google it as its quicker than RCtechs search at times.

Hey guys im looking for some setup tips on making the truck better on medium to small 1/8th tracks with some bigger jumps. It has always handled well but does not like the jumps or high speed sweepers. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Brian

For jumps, if you can still find it, look into the RC Shox Center Diff. This made a big difference for me at least.

As for high speed sweepers, what exactly is the problem you are experiencing?
