It can mean a lot, just feel the pinch at the first shut down when it is cooled down. If the piston did not gat a kind of heat treatment in the factory the pinch will get bigger.
Just be carefull and be sure how the piston will act during the break in before you push up the performance.

Yes, heating up piston material and cooling it down does change the material on molucair level giving some grow. It depends the used materials in the piston aloy and if the piston already did got a heat treatment. So yes, the loose pinch is choosen to the behavour of the piston.

I thought I lost it many years ago, but in cleaning out my garage, fallen behind a workbench, I found a MEGA / KHM .21 new, inbox, never been started, with booklet, serial sheet and case I.d. by Klaus Hienz Meier. I remember purchasing 4 of these engines back in the VETEQ days and all this time it was behind my workbench, should I keep it as vintage?, or put it up for sale?

Giasou re manga.....
That looks pretty much just like it....I'd like to know who exactly put the serial numbers on there...
I'm in New York but I don't think I'm gonna be running this particular car/engine anywhere.....It's probably just gonna spend its days on the shelf....
Hopefully I get to fire it up later today for the first time, give it a spin in the parking lot and then send it into retirement....
