The Nightfox body arrived and it actually fits quite well. Next time around, I'll leave about 1/2" more material in front of the nose cut line and notch the raised parts for the shock tower mounts in hopes of keeping the body from cracking and maybe give it a softer, pointed shape vice the blunt end it has now. The hole for the engine is about 1/2" further forward than the cut lines (in the forward position). The rest is pretty straight forward.
The top of this body sits very low compared to the stock body. I'm going to remove the Losi tank pull because I dont want it getting snagged on anything (it can come out of the body by about 1" if upside down).
The fuel lines are very tight at the front of the buggy and the forward most retainer is almost touching the body at rest. Past that, it opens up pretty well and provides at least as much room as the stock body. There seems to be ample room for the throttle linkage and the header has plenty of room as well.

Having a hard time visualizing your setup and Ive never run a werks engine but if you arent having issues and arent blowing up clutch bearings and dont have uneven wear on the spur/bell teeth then you should be fine.
However, I like to make sure the spur is centered on the bell teeth in case of lateral movement and flex.

That looks awesome! Is that the Night Fox xb9 body?

If I where Daniel and Matt I would be trying real hard to pull him away from Durango. Ryan is not only one of the elite fast racers but is a great down to earth guy that everyone likes. He would be a huge asset to Tekno.

That's actually a great point. But... Ryan is really entrenched w Hobbico brands and last I spoke to him he wasn't looking to make a move but that's a great idea, he would fit in the team very well personality wise too

Pretty sure those dingo turnbuckles are aluminum. I'd say that's a pretty big risk to run those for the majority of the worlds average racers.

Got myself a new nb48. Build went very well. Nothing goofy what so ever. As I built this buggy, I relized all the nice things my current race buggy doesn't have. Seems the guys over at Tekno have some time into thinking out the next level of adjustment options and overall convenience. Truggy build is up next and I can't imagine anything less.
One thing though, how is the durability of the stock bodies on the truck and buggy? Need any reinforcing?

Had a great time racing tonight down at Revelation. Qualified 3rd because of some silly mistakes (leading to an epic marshal fail in the 2nd qualifier that cost 9+ seconds and the TQ). Didnt make to many bad mistakes in the main but had a total brain fart when I came in for fuel and didnt know where my pit was (guy stepped up last minute to help but also had to marshal so I thought he was out on the track but he wasnt, whoops 
). It was a great battle for 1st-4th the entire main with all of us running together the entire time. On the last lap, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th (me) were all running nose to tail (literally) and I was able to sneak through to be the first loser. 1st place buggy had 5 seconds on me by the end. Setup and tires are working well. I'll rebuild the diffs, shocks, and clutch tomorrow and should be set for a good showing at JBRL this weekend; cant wait!
Oh, had some issue with the tank just before the first qualifier. If I grabbed the car by the tail (nose down), the idle would drop and the buggy would die. Checked the lines and they were all good so I swapped the tank and the problem went away. No idea what the heck the problem was with it but I was glad to get it fixed just in time for my qualifier (hadnt done that all day). I'll investigate more tomorrow.
