Tekno NB48

Hot damn, Larry Genova over at Kustom R/C Graphics finished up the body today so it should be here in time for JBRL! I've been using him for a few years now and he always adds a little something to one up the previous version. This time it was the window trim which I love!

Could you make some photos of the outer fuel line clips with FTW body on?

It's essentially the same thing. I'm still running the stock clutch with kit configuration and really like it. With that said, I picked up Werks clutch and will be running it from here on out because they're just so easy to work on.

I would say the Tekno shoes wear the same as losi but if you want something with more life try the Dynamite max Life shoes, they last foreever and performance doesnt seem to suffer in my opinion

Ran the Mugen series down at Heritage RC today and had a blast as usual. I hadn't run the Tekno there until this morning and my setup showed. Track was kept fairly wet which didn't compliment the X2 compounds I had brought despite the 95 degree temps. Setup was a little more nervous but decent. Ended up qualifying 3rd but could only muster a fourth place finish after a computer failure forced a restart while I was running second in the A. Kept making mistakes on a trickey infield double that seemed simple but kicked my butt for some reason.
Hoping to do better at next week's JBRL and then come back down and snatch up a podium at the next Mugen series in two weeks.

I've spent a lot of time at revelation and Mo's setup works really well there (95% solution). I haven't tried the 6.5 pistons yet. Lots of tires work well there but Catapults seem to be about the best.
The layout hadnt changed as of Wednesday. I'll be heading back down Tuesday to work on a few things again and will provide some info on the track if there are changes.

Forgot to mention my "fail" for the day at the Mugen race; came in for fuel at the end the warmup laps during the first qualifier and upon exit pulled a nice little barrel roll. Not real sure what happened to cause it but I was probably too hard on the binders and caught a rut. Got a nice DNS after check in. Durango turnbuckle cracked so I quickly removed all of those and went back to the stock units.
Changed clutch bearings after the second Qual and found a tooth missing on the clutch bell. Had a Serpent on hands so that was a fairly easy fix (needs a longer collet but I had one of those thankfully).
Haven't torn down the buggy yet but there are no other obvious issues. Still not happy with the braking, not sure what I'm going to try next in that department.
