I forgot all about that one.. I knew there was more than just one additional nut needed. Here is what I used for the ball-stud nuts, they were $2 and probably stocked at your hobby shop:

I did use a small drip of blue thread lock for grins.

It looks like the Losi nuts have just a BIT more material, which is all you need to make it work. I just upgraded to the gold AE nuts, and needed to use a washer to prevent the shock from trying to pop out around the nut.

The main difference between b4.1 worlds & b4.2 is the bb shocks, aluminum steering blocks, hexes, & VTS slipper. Of those I would say only the aluminum steering blocks are a REQUIRED mod to the worlds. Your doing the hexes, so I would HIGHLY recomend getting some AL steering block as the next hopup, or replacement WHEN you break the plastic steering blocks. The bb's are nice & well made, but only a real benefit if your track is rough. I was rather unimpressed by the VTS. I would recommend the Avid triad or rcshox.com Garodisc.
What's the part number for the aluminum steering blocks?

depends where you run, and if you have a big temp swing. ei. I run outdoors in the summer on a pretty dusty track. The shock oil doesn't stay clean very long. I usually change it about every month.

I change mine about every 4 months, indoor track, no dust, usually change cars more than shock oil.

also selling a painted B4.2 body, new, needs to be cut.

Do you strip down the whole shock and clean it or dump out the old oil and put new oil in?

Hello guys, noob question. Just reading some PDF file on B4.1 and saw the file on 12mm BB Shocks. On the manual it says that if i want to use the BB i need spacers to fil the shock tower (front/rear). Questions is, where can i get those spacers?

B4.1:
Front/Rear - 0.090" black spacer
Rear Arm - 0.030" sliver spacer

Thanks in advance. Cheers

Avid sells them. These are only needed if you are using the original B4.1 shock tower. The newer shock towers are modified to ensure spacers are not needed
