I've been wanting to try nitro and the new car was too hard to pass up. Thanks for the awesome rides Tekno.

Hey guys, can someone talk through the logic of some of the NB48 kit setup? I'm coming from the EB48 and it feels like almost every setup option is the polar opposite (less rear toe in, high/short camber link, low/long rear camber link, max caster+kickup, bump steer washers on opposite sides, etc). I'm sure Tekno put a lot of research into the stock setup so I would love to hear more about how each setting was chosen

My first race with this car will be on an indoor clay track (Flowood,MS). Which settings should I experiment with first to adjust to a blue groove style track? Thanks!

Take a lot of tires!!!!! Thats a very nice track but it will eat a set of tires each round.

Yes your correct for the EB48 but you will also see the EB48.2 is much closer to the nitro buggy set up but they both work very well still

If was me I would start with the book / kit set up and adjust from there. I personal am still running the 3.5 toe on rear but I am not on a high bite track either.

I got a nb48 last week and Flowood RC is my home track, I started with the kit set up and it was good and could turn fast laps but just felt like it was on edge and felt like I couldn't drive the car as hard as I wanted. I ran over half a gallon last week changing things all day trying to get it easy to drive yet still fast, I feel like I'm getting there but it'll take a little more testing and gonna try some different tires also. I know that sometimes a certain tire will act different on different cars so I'm gonna try changing tires from what I been running. Look me up any time your at FRC as I'm always there. As for the EB48.2, that's the best car I've ever driven and just gotta get the nitro car there, but it's close. And I do think that the NB is a great car, just trying to find a set up that fits my driving style on this blue groove hard packed surface.

What kind of setup are u using in the diffs I am looking to switch to this buggy. Like 5-5-3 diff oils or 5-7-3.
