I will have to check that out.

How much timing are you guys running in blinky 17.5t, the track I am running on has small to medium jumps, clay, and has long straights.

Timing is going to depend on what motor you're running.

Some like 55°, some like 30°.

What motor are you running?

Thanks, I will try that next time I hit the track. I am also running 72t Spur 32t Pinion, I know its sacrilegious, but I really like the Losi Aluminum Pinions.

A few days ago, someone posted some offset rod ends so that the rear turnbuckles don't rub the shocks. Does anyone have a link for them? I can't find them because this thread moves so fast.

Thank you sir! I was searching for "offset" instead of "off-set".

Live and learn I guess.

I am running the Reedy Mach 2, with Flow Works. I havent updated the ESC yet, I wasnt sure if it was necessary for 17.5 Blinky.

Just finished my transmission and slipper assembly tonight. Everything is really smooth, but that slipper assembly is massive!! Does the new slipper really provide anything significant over the last version?? It almost looks over-engineered or over-complicated. Just curious.

They are using c4.1 conversations. The C4.2 are not ready just yet. You can be sure they they will have them for the worlds most likely the Nats. Also if the chassis you see are silver color they are extended 10mm chassis made by a guy in the UK Tony Parr. Most all the UK Centro/ team associated drivers use this chassis. If you see them with a black chassis then it's a Centro.

The entire front end is a b4 front end with what looks to be brass posts up front. I dont think AE used the brass bulkhead though. The battery mounting system looks the same to me. The chassis could be different. Alum proto chassis are pretty easy to make, but I kinda think its a c4.x chassis. Since so many AE parts are used in the conversion, I can only imagine that chassis and tranny would be the main focus for improvement. i.e. flex, length, tranny height, etc. And like I said the rear tower looks different. But to my untrained eye, it looks like a b4.x with 98% of the c4.x conversion.

Man Avid comes up with some great products for the B4.2. Just saw that new adjustable ESC center mount. Allows you to run Reg and Short batteries. Allows you to slid the esc forward and back to adjust where you want the weight. Looks like a nice piece.
