Hey guys just wanted to share. I run a rev pro w/ v3 8.5 in my b4 I run the B4 at LEVEL 2 with Mod2 firmware. I tried Level 3, 5, 7 and two felt the best. It feels very much like my old 13.5 boosted setup. Very easy to drive. Has a great mid range hit. Just wondering what you others are running?

Got question ,I just put a high torque rotor and also put a green timing board 20+ on my 17.5, I was geard at 81/26 motor temps where 160, it's that consider to hot? Should I got with the stock timing board? Need help tks. Also I have a reventon R esc running on stock software.

I have a "pulling my hair out" question....Here goes.
Club racing, AE SC10 4wd with 5.5 550 can Reedy motor and Reventon Pro.
Truck just shuts off....could be after 30 seconds, could be after 2 minutes. I have changed out Receiver and sensor wire...not the issue. I am running Stock 1 v20 software with Hybrid boost. Neither the motor or the ESC are hot at all when this happens. ESC is less than a year old and has been a great performer for me. I am going to check all of my settings later today but I am at wits end with this. I may just order a new one and then send this one in to be checked. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you..

What kind of timing on esc and motor are you running, and what gearing?

The stock capacitor that comes with the Reventon Pro is 2200uf 25v 105* high temperature radial capacitor. They are common at any electronic parts store. I bought mine locally at Fry's for $3.50. You can get them online at Parts Express, Amazon or just do a Google search.

22/78 endbell is set to what ever it came with out of the box. I havent moved it.

Unfortunately the Reventon Pro cannot handle SCT 4x4 racing especially boosted on stock profile. I also just received my 1.1 Reventon Pro, but still is not suggested. I wish they are. I was forced to run a other esc if I wanted to be racing in the class. I too am still waiting for either software and or a new esc. Patiently.

From what I was told it couldn't be used with 540 4pole motors. The 550 can was supposed to be acceptable. I really like this ESC. Been using it in this configuration for about 4-5 months, zero issues.

The Reventon pro is a awesome esc. But it just cant be pushed in 4wd SCT. The stock software you're using is a ramping software and will still run aggressive even with everything off. Try the latest mod software. It is more efficient . Btw what was the ambient temp outside?
If you want a SP esc for 4wd SCT, then go with the GT2.0. It works good.

Thanks for answering Raul. We were indoors IRH on Long Island and temps were about 80 degrees. No heat generated, barely did 5 or six laps. Just cuts out. Turns right back on and runs again... Sometimes longer.

Just placed a order for one. How do you know which wire goes to the positive side?
Or does it matter?

I will try the mod software but I think Im going to be forced to use a different speedo in this truck for racing in the morning. That being said I will have to contact King Golden during the week to see if they can look at this thing and tell me if it is "no bueno" and repair or replace it. I will then use it in Blinky for my 17.5 Buggy....Going to have to get something BEEFY I guess for 4wd SC...With the Amp draw rating on this unit I should have been "OK". Capacitor and solder joint check tonight....I really PRAY its something dumb....its been working flawlessly for months!

PS.....Devil Spit is DA BOMB! I get to race with Slayer on a regular basis. Great guy!
