Tekno SCT410 Thread

I'm not a Tekin fanboy (though I do like their products, I'm running several other brands including HobbyWing like RC*PHREAK), but Tekin actually does much of their work in the USA. To quote Randy Pike (Tekin Team Manager) when he was asked about it specifically:
"Tekin products are made here in the United States using both foreign and domestic components."

Awesome write up on the pro4 HD....now I really can't wait.

A question on chassis braces... I scrolled thru some pages las night and saw where some were running just Front & Center Braces and left the rear off and then some mentioned running Front & Rear.....
I guess what are some opinions on this....
For Indoors I run high bite clay track and for outdoors typically 8th scale tracks that are hard packed loamy

nice! In your opinion does the motor have more or less of the off power motor breaking effect that is common to the pro4 540's?
For those running on loose conditions, what diff settings have you been finding you like?
This weekend is rebuild time for next weekends race, track conditions favor super soft compound tires in grid iron or similar tread. Track is big and is ran on by 1/8 scales so figure will get bumpy at times.
vid of the indoor facility from a race few years ago to get the general idea:
Right now I am debating between diff settings of 7-7-5 or 5-5-3 to start with.

+1 . I wish we had something like that in Fargo, heck, I wish we had some facility period in Fargo lol.
Last time I ran there a few years ago it was funny to watch my 1/10 2wd buggy just disappear on some of the track sections.
I am hoping to run 1/8 buggy with the EB48 as well, hopefully don't embarrass myself ... but, somebody has to come in last .
